“Claret in the City”

If you appreciate good Claret, enjoy fine dining in a private location and value meeting and networking with City business leaders then Claret in the City is for you!

Peter Lunzer, one of the UK’s leading wine experts and raconteurs hosts a series of wine tasting dinners in the heart of the City of London on the subject of Claret demonstrating the incredible depth of skills in Bordeaux wine making.  Amounts served are generous and top ups frequent!

Some previous themes have been :

  • Cru Bourgeois Chateaux of Medoc
  • Vertical Tasting of Chateau Talbot
  • 2nd wines of Cru Classé Chateaux
  • Vertical Tasting of Chateau Lynch Bages

Peter’s style is relaxed where wit, serious comment on wine and charming wine related anecdotes are easily mingled. However, for all the charm the audience is left no doubt as to his deep knowledge and passion for wine which is naturally infectious. This formula has been very well received by our clients and their guests and has proved to be a great way to entertain clients without having to break the bank.

Our next Claret in the City is on Wednesday, 8th of March at the prestigious Trinity House and the theme for the evening is “2007 Clarets – 10 years on”

“The wine buff is dead, long live the wine buff.

Finally someone from the wine world that won’t make you feel inferior or question your own intellect.

If wine tasting evenings normally leave you baffled then seek out Claret in the City. Peter Lunzer will steer you well clear of all the superlative nonsense normally spoken, and offer you a true real life description of the six(!) glasses of wine in front of you that will see you chuckling all the way home – on top of that, you’ll almost certainly wake up the following morning with some very impressive business cards in your suit jacket!”
